Thousands of City fans lined the streets of Manchester on Monday night as Pep Guardiola and his players paraded the Premier League trophy through the city on an open-top bus
Pep Guardiola showed off his dance moves as Manchester City celebrated their Premier League title triumph with an open-top bus parade.
City boss Guardiola drank beer and puffed on a cigar as he and his players paraded the Premier League trophy in front of thousands of fans in Manchester. Guardiola, who made it four league titles in five seasons with Sunday’s epic comeback from 2-0 down to beat Aston Villa 3-2, paid tribute to his players and City’s fans.
“This is the toughest league and we’ve won four since we have been here,” said Guardiola. “I can see the happiness on the people’s faces. I am the best dancer of my staff! We will do it tonight.”
Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus were the only absentees from the party. City said Sterling’s children were unwell, while Jesus was with his wife, who was due to give birth.
Ilkay Gundogan, who came off the bench to score twice, including the title-winning goal, added to the celebrations by pledging his future to the club.
The German has one year left on his current deal, leading to speculation he could leave this summer. But Gundogan vowed to stay at City next season and said: “I’m very settled. I’ve been here six years now.

“I have one more year and I’m looking forward to that year. I feel like there’s a lot to achieve again next year.”
Kevin De Bruyne admitted he was a little worse for wear as he thanked City’s fans for their support.
He said: “I’m a little bit drunk! It’s amazing to do this for the fourth time and amazing to see so many people here to celebrate with us. Thank you to the fans, the last game and atmosphere was amazing. Enjoy the summer and let’s go again.”
