North Korean leader Kim Jong Un opened a new “luxurious residential district” for his top elite supporters in downtown Pyongyang on Wednesday, according to state media, touring new multi-story homes reserved for “true patriots” such as the country’s top state TV news anchor.
The ceremony came two days after Kim opened a new street of apartment buildings on the outskirts of the city intended for 10,000 ordinary residents.
