North Korea fired one unidentified projectile towards the East Sea on Saturday morning, detected at 08:48 KST from the Sunan area near Pyongyang, according to South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS).
The Japan Coast Guard added that the test was a “possible ballistic missile,” and suggested a flight time of some 40 minutes before the missile splashed down in the body of water east of Korea and west of Japan, according to official statements on their website.
