A Manchester City target’s agent is reportedly pushing for their client to leave their current club.
Mino Raiola counts Erling Haaland among his clients and there has been plenty of speculation about the Borussia Dortmund forward moving to the Etihad sooner rather than later.
But according to Goal, who cite Italian newspaper La Repubblica, Raiola wants to see Matthijs de Ligt leave Juventus and join another club at the end of the season.
It is believed that De Ligt has a release clause of £125m which only becomes active in the summer.
However, Goal say that the Serie A giants would be prepared to see him go for £54.1m instead.
Pep Guardiola is thought to be keen on this but if he wants to sign the centre back he will need to battle Chelsea and Barcelona for his signature.
Meanwhile, Wales Online report claim a Championship club remain interested in City youngster James McAtee.
The attacking midfielder has made three first team appearances this season for Guardiola’s table toppers.
In the Premier League 2, the 19-year-old has found his stride scoring an impressive 13 goals in just 14 appearances.
This has not gone unnoticed by Swansea City and the report claims the City youngster is ‘still wanted’ by the Swans.
Elsewhere, reports in Spain suggest that Man City youngster Oscar Tarensi could be on his way to the second tier of Spanish football.
According to Nil Sola at Mundo Deportivo, the 19-year-old will be moving to Girona to gain some more first team experience.
The left-back has made 10 appearances in the Premier League 2, UEFA Youth League and EFL Trophy this season.
