As reported by RMC and Le Parisien, former Canal+ star pundit Pierre Ménès, who is under investigation for sexual assault, was placed in police custody on Thursday.
RMC report this was part of a preliminary investigation opened last month into events that allegedly took place at the Parc des Princes during a match between PSG and Nantes. Ménès’ lawyer indicated that a hearing is expected to take place today, December 9th.
Ménès was removed from his position at Canal+ last spring while an internal investigation at Canal later revealed several more alleged instances of inappropriate behaviour.
