Ashes highlights for free in the UK – How to watch on BT Sport and BBC

England’s series against Australia down under begins this week, as they seek to end a poor record on opposing soil.

It’s been a decade since England last won the urn in the Southern Hemisphere, with Australia boasting an impressive record of winning seven of the last eight on their turf.

England haven’t even won a test match in Australia since the 2011 triumph, suffering whitewash defeats on two occasions.

The odds are stacked against them but they will have plenty of support from the UK – although the timings of the series in Australia may make it difficult for fans to follow all of the action in the Ashes.

Thankfully, there’s a number of ways that supporters can catch-up on everything that has gone on in bitesize chunks.
